*Fashion with a Purpose*

We had a full house last night!! I was able to showcase my Funky, Fab, and Fresh looks for the summer!!So, if you missed out last night HANG LOOSE...the next show will be in Hawaii!!!

I hold Hawaii dear to my heart, it was a place I once called home. Exactly four years ago I moved there, and joined the school of performing arts @ Youth With A Mission aka Y.W.A.M. After the three months of intense training and perfecting the production "Coming Home"(A modern day version of the Prodigal Son) we traveled throughout the hawaiian islands and California for three more months. Our mission was to give a message of faith and hope to everyone we encountered. Since completing the school, I've got to lead and be apart of different Y.W.A.M. schools around the U.S. Last summer I traveled to Tyler Texas, Chicago Illinois, Colorado Springs, and Hollywood California teaching a dance, singing, and theater camp to inner city kids. Many of the kids can't afford these special classes so we brought the "Arts to the Streets". My heart overflows with joy when I see the youth of this generation express themselves through their God given talents. I will definitely be doing some of the camps this summer as well!

I know you're thinking what does fashion have to do with all this???

Well, a huge talent that God has given me is Fashion design, thats why I started my own business, Gabrielle De La Garza. I absolutely LOVE it! My business has helped me support non-profit organizations such as Y.W.A.M. that help spread the Love of Christ! So, thats how the best of my worlds collide :)
